Arial Larsen: I am an arts advocate and believe it is an essential part of our children's lives, creatively and academically. I work with kids at the Boys & Girls Clubs throughout the valley and other related organizations instituting Dance4LIFE programs. I have danced for more than 17 years and have also danced for the Utah Jazz. Prior to that, I danced on scholarship with a national championship collegiate dance team. In high school, I was the Head Captain of her championship drill team and on the national honor role. I’ve always been intrigued and drawn to individuals with special needs. For years, I’ve wanted to be “the Dancing Doctor” so I could continue my passion in dance while helping to heal and lighten the spirits of children dealing with difficult health and emotional circumstances. I have contributed more than 1,000 hours to community service work and raised more than $15,000 for different organizations. I enjoy waterskiing, snowboarding, hiking, river running, scrapbooking and taking on “new adventures”. I love to travel, spend time with family and look forward to continuing my platform forward, working with as many children as I can in Utah and the country.
